Canberra in Australia

Canberra is the capital city of Australia, although it is not so famous as Sydney and Melbourne, we still want to go there for its political symbol just as Beijing in China.

It takes appropriate 7 hours to drive from Melbourne to Canberra excluding break time on the road. Actually it took me about 10 hours to arrive.

Day1: started at 8:30am, along ocean coast towards east, arrived at 6:30pm, accommodation

Follow the western ring road then join the Hume Highway. Near Yass, take the Barton Highway turn off to Canberra. This route is a dual carriage freeway. We accomodated in Cockington Green Gardens which was quite difficult for me to find.

Day2: Visit Canberra City

Australian National Gallery

The parliaments

Queen's Terrace: from here, we can have a whole view of Canberra.

Lake Burley Griffin

Captain Cook's Memorial Fountain

Coin factory

美丽的堪培拉一日游

Embessies of various countries

It is a pity we did not visit Cockington Green Gardens due to time limit.
