"Mount Gambier is the second most populous city in South Australia with a population of 25,199^[1] in the urban area, or 27,756^[4] if associated peri-urban communities are included (2011 Census). The city is located on the slopes of Mount Gambier (volcano) in the south east of the state, about 450 kilometres (280 mi) south-east of the capital Adelaide and just 17 kilometres (11 mi) from the Victorian border, it is the most important settlement in the Limestone Coast region and the seat of government for both the City of Mount Gambier and the District Council of Grant.

4 days in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia

We went to Malaysia on our way back from Shanghai to Melbourne at the end of September in 2013.

Day one:

1. Transit Visa. In AirAsia airport, transit visa place was just inside the customs hall, opposite to the customs checkin gate, and beside the window next to the Islamic Bank (islam bank), there is outstanding words "120 hours transit visa", it is easy to find. Presenting the next trip air ticket, passport and immigration sheet to Malaysian immigration officer. Then the visa officer will give you a form (that is the main content of the passport and flight number, etc.). The white card in front of a column should fill the purpose of entry "transit"! After handing in the form, we wait for about 15 mins then the officer returned the passports to us with visa in them.

6 days in Beijing: some tips

We booked all accommodations and one day journey to the Great Wall.

We lived in Novotel on the first 3 days and the address:

We took No 1 airport bus from the airport to Beijing South railway station which is the terminal station. Then walked 15 mins to Novotel:

Wanaka

After Milford Sound, I wanted to go back to Queenstown due to earthquake around glacier area.

Wanaka is a place for me to take a break after the Mount Cook during the journey.

Two unforgettable things:

      1.   There is toasted lamb in the big shopping centre in Wanaka;

      2.  The scene on the way from Wanaka to Queenstown, there is a sharp climbing mountain road , which is quite scary from a far distance looking, it zigzag upwards the mountain like a snake!
